ABOUT teenie jewelry
Teenie Jewelry is an art & fine jewelry line dedicated to crafting symbolic amulets by hand. Rooted in inspiration from art, culture, nature, and travel, each piece carries a story—brought to life through sterling silver, gold, gemstones, crystals, minerals, fossils, and cast seashells.
We celebrate the beauty in subtle imperfections, allowing the hand’s touch to shape every design with intention and soul. Since 2015, Teenie Jewelry has embodied bold fluidity and organic luxury, creating amulets meant to protect, empower, and connect.
As a small, female-owned and operated business, we are committed to ethical craftsmanship, sustainable practices, and producing each piece with care and consciousness.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Hi! I’m Teenie Mitchell, the designer and maker behind Teenie Jewelry. My journey with jewelry began over ten years ago while studying Costume Design at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. As I explored various techniques—fabric manipulation, draping, pattern making, sewing, corsetry, beading, embroidery, illustration, and metal arts—one craft captivated me the most: metalsmithing. There was something undeniably magical about transforming a simple sheet of metal into a three-dimensional form. Over time, my connection to this process deepened, and I knew I had found my true passion.
Since 2015, I have created three collections—Bali, Siren, and Helio—each reflecting my love for antiquity, culture, nature, and travel. I’m drawn to organic shapes and find something mesmerizing about spheres; they speak to my soul, much like the mystical world, alchemy, and the cosmos. Sacred geometry also plays a significant role in my designs. My work is bold in design yet fluid in form, embracing subtle imperfections while enhancing them with meticulous finishing and polishing techniques. The result is a collection of organic yet luxurious pieces that feel like hidden treasures unearthed.
I primarily work with sterling silver, gold, gemstones, crystals, minerals, seashells, and fossils, using both hand fabrication and wax carving. My process is deeply personal, making each creation as meaningful as the final piece itself.
With over a decade of experience in the jewelry and fashion industries, I have worked as a Bench Jeweler, Jewelry Production Coordinator/Manager, and Design Assistant for various brands and designers, including Kris Nations, Ashley Morgan Designs, Larisa Laivins Fine Jewelry, The Great Frog, Fox & Bond Jewelry, STACKED (formerly Reservoir), and Talon Jewelry.
Jewelry-making is more than a craft to me—it’s an alchemical process, a bridge between imagination and reality, and a way to bring meaning into tangible form.
